Just some photos today from a walk around Somerville, MA.
The long awaited Green Line, after years of delays, is looking like it will actually arrive in the not too distant future. They've shut down a few bridges in my neighborhood so they can physically widen the tracks. It's pretty wild, as one end of the bridge is up on stilts while they scoop out the side of the hill that it used to connect to.
It was hard to capture pictures of it because of the fencing in the way, but it's pretty dramatic. They're not kidding with that sign. Don't drive on the bridge.
